Poffertjes are a traditional Dutch batter treat.
They are smaller than your average pancake and are “fluffy” in appearance.
A Stroopwafel is made from two thin layers of baked dough which are fused with a stroop filling.
By placing the waffle on top of a hot beverage, they become warm and soft.
This is the recommended and the nicest way to eat them.
